We have curtains!

It is amazing what curtains can do for a room. I was feeling pretty good about our living room before I got the curtains made, but now.... I'm loving this room! 

I went the easy route and did the no sew method (using the iron hem tape). This was my first time to use that product, but certainly not my last. Amazing stuff! 

We reused the existing wooden rod from the previous home owner, but updated it with a spray can of ORB paint. Then I bought the ring clips and rod holders from HobLob with a giftcard from the best realtors ever (shout out to The Red Team!).

Easy peasy project.

We still need to fill a few holes and touch up the paint. 

And I even got some frames up on the wall. I've ordered pics of the girls (one girl per frame) and hope that they arrive soon! 

Slowly, but surely this house is becoming our home.... with our style (goodbye 90s), and our blood, sweat, and tears. Love DIY!
