Mattie finally had her 4 month appointment...

...even though she's been 4 months for two weeks now. :)

Mattie is 14.9 lbs (63%), 24 in tall (30%) and her head measures 16.25 in (61%).

She's been so much fun lately! The world is so exciting to her and she loves to watch what's going on around her. If big sister is around, Mattie will rarely take her eyes off of her. She now grabs onto toys to play and explore, she jumps around in her play bouncer, and has just started to try having conversations with us. We love when she gets serious and babbles on and on.

She's very happy the majority of the time and loves to smile. I'm finally accepting the fact that she is a tummy sleeper (just like me) and no longer needs or wants to be swaddled. Mattie loves to roll. I think of her as our little rolly polly because if she's on her playmat, she'll roll and spin herself around quite often. We're even going to be putting away her swing because she tries to roll over while she's lounging in there!

She eats a lot and has started eating more and more in the last couple of weeks. In fact, Momma's having a hard time keeping up with her! Mattie has tried rice cereal twice now and we will continue to offer it to her twice a day as we are slowly starting her intro to solids.

She's in size 2 diapers and wears 6 month clothing.
