Ella-isms

I love her sweet innocence.

A couple nights ago, Ella pointed out the moon to her daddy and me. Matt went on to teach her that was a half moon and also talked to her about what a full moon was. After they talked about the differences, Matt quizzed her by asking what kind of moon was up in the sky. Ella's response, "It's half of a moon. The other half is broken."

We were driving through the Dallas area and heard Ella say "Oooh, it's a castle. A castle for princesses." Looking out the window, we saw what she was seeing. A church in the distance with a big white steeple on top.

For several weeks, Ella has been amazed by her daddy's facial hair. I don't think a day has gone by that she doesn't talk to him about his "whiskers". When he shaves them off it's because "they're dirty whiskers." And every day when he gets home, one of the first things she asks him, "do you have new whiskers yet daddy?"
