This happy girl is now 6 months old!
She weighs 16.2 pounds (50%), and is 25.5 inches long (45%).
Charlotte has started sleeping through the night! Hooray! And during the day, she typically has 2 shorter naps, and 1 longer nap that lasts around 2-2.5 hours.
She has been interested in eating for awhile and has finally gotten to try a few things. We started with sweet potatoes and she loved them. She has not loved avocado, carrots, or applesauce. But, we are still trying the applesauce daily so that we can use that to mix in with other things she doesn't like so much. I've also let her gum on a cucumber slice and that made her pretty happy.
Charlotte loves to watch big sisters. If they are playing or some place that she can hear, she will army crawl her way to them so she can watch the action. They love to hold her, sing to her, and just think that she is the cutest little thing ever.
She is wearing size 6 months in clothes and even a few 6-9 month items (and will be quickly needing the next size up) and size 3 diaper.
We had family pictures over the weekend and Charlotte sat up by herself for the first time (without toppling over!) during our photoshoot. It was perfect timing! She still needs some work on it, but every day she is getting some practice and will be sitting up on her own in no time.
Before long, she's going to be crawling everywhere. She has got the army crawl down and that gets her around pretty quickly, but she will often get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth.
We are blessed by this little girl and thankful for her smiles!
