The “monkey song” is one of Ella’s favorite songs these days. As soon as we get in the car, she requests that we listen to it first.
Today, we went to the zoo and of course the animal she kept talking about seeing was the monkey.
On the way there, we stopped by and saw the rhino. She was convinced that it was a hippo.
Once we got to the monkeys, she kept saying “hi” and tried to have a conversation with them.

Next stop, the cats.
We finished with the giraffes and Ella helped Daddy count all 5 of the giraffes that were outside!
And just like every trip to the zoo, Ella was worn out by the time we left. I must admit, I was worn out too. We both got a good nap this afternoon. :)
