I feel like Ella’s vocabulary has exploded this week. Mainly just in the last couple of days. Thanks to a conversation with Aunt Michelle on IM chat yesterday, Ella now can say her name. It’s really cute because she says it as “Ye-ya.”
Some of her other words are: momma, dadda, nana (for both Nana and banana), papa, shoe, preddy (for pretty), dat (for cat), daw (for dog), byebye, ball, bubble, baby, pleee (for please), chee (for cheese) and duh (for done).
Those are the main words we can recognize somewhat consistently. Her teacher’s at school have frequently commented on how big of a talker Ella is, but this afternoon they said that they felt like they could actually understand her today. Our little girl is growing up!
On a totally unrelated note, these pictures our from our visit to the farmer’s market last night. She enjoyed the fresh air and obviously getting to try on momma’s glasses!
