Seriously, 5 Months Already?

 

5 months ago today our lives changed forever. Our lives changed for the better because of Ella.

Seeing her smiling face when she wakes up in the morning is magical. She is such a happy baby who is constantly smiling and babbling to anybody who will listen. Recently she has started teething which is causing several outfit changes a day thanks to her constant drooling and spitting up. Her fingers comfort her most of the time, but she will chew on pretty much anything that is offered to her. We recently put away all of her 3 month clothing and Ella is officially in the 6 month size or larger. She’s a growing girl! Speaking of which, she is still wearing a size 2 diaper, but I’m thinking that the package she is currently using will be her last one before graduating to size 3. Our cupcake is still sleeping through the night which has been a blessing to both Momma and Daddy. She usually goes to bed between 7-8 pm and wakes up between 7-7:30 am. Even with all of that sleep, she still loves her naps. She is currently changing schedules, but she will typically take 3 naps during the day for about an hour each time. A BIG milestone is that Ella has seamlessly transitioned to taking her naps in her swing to napping in her crib this week. I’m so proud of her! We couldn’t be more in love with this little girl. Thank you God for blessing our life with her.
