No Place Like Home

The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind for Matt and me. Ever since finding out that we were expecting an addition to our family, we've been busy talking about our future and where we'd want to raise our little one. The city of Edmond kept popping up for different reasons and we had pretty much decided that we would love to be able to move back that direction in the upcoming years. One thing led to another and almost out of the blue, we are officially moving to Edmond in almost 3 weeks! Our soon-to-be house is brand new and actually still going through the final stages of construction (as you can see in the pictures below). It is a bigger house than our current one and we are looking forward to the extra space to expand our family. It's 4 bedroom plus a study/3 bath/3 car garage and only about a mile away from my work. That is a definite plus!

Our current house officially went on the market on Tuesday of last week and was sold by Thursday. We took that as a God-sign! We will miss Yukon, but are eager to get settled into our new house over the next couple of months before Ella arrives.

This picture was taken last Friday after work. The brick and stones were almost completed!

The rest of these pictures are from when we first saw the house. Below is looking from the kitchen sink into our dining area.

This picture is from the kitchen looking into our living room. The shelves on the left side of the fireplace are being replaced and they will look exactly like the ones on the right side.

This is our lovely kitchen. I'm most excited about getting to cook in here.

Here is looking from the dining area into the rest of the living room.

Once we get the key and are able to see what it looks like more completed, I'll post more pictures!
