Our family loves to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Anytime we see the Bethlehem stable scene I'll point out "there's baby Jesus." Ella corrects me... every.single.time... and says, "No. It's Baby God."
I can't get Mattie to say Merry Christmas quite yet, but whenever she sees a Santa, she says, "Ho Ho Ho!"
Mattie frequently asks to look at "ights" (lights) day or night. When she gets a glimpse of some she says "oooh" and "wow."
Earlier, I was talking with Ella about the sugar cookies we were going to make later on. I told her that we were going to use her cookie cutters to make Christmas shapes. She started listing what she was going to pick, "A tree, a star, a donut..... because donuts are Christmas-y."
