We went to bed last night with a girl who was cranky, uncomfortable and only wanted to be held by her momma. Fast forward a few hours, and she was woken up and being bribed back into surgery by an anestthesiologist who was giving her empty promises of balloons, puppies and toys.
Poor kid.
Surgery went well and Ella officially has tubes! The ENT saw fluid in her ears yesterday, and said that it was already infected by this morning. This explains last night's crankiness. Thankfully he drained out the fluid during surgery because after she came home and slept for over an hour, she's bright and bubbly.
She even downed a sausage burrito from Mickey Ds.
And finished off my orange juice. Oh well, I'm just happy she already seems to be doing so much better than she was the past couple of days!
