What a Weekend

We have had a great weekend. It's been full of dealing with a fussy baby who's not napping and has her first lowgrade fever. It's been full of laughter. It's been full of toys and playing games. It's been full of singing the song "Wheels on the Bus." It's been full of laundry. It's been full of cleaning house. It's been full of spending good quality family time together.

It couldn't have been a better weekend.

Ella has all the signs of teething: fussiness, not sleeping well, drooling out of control, running nose, diiiiiiiirty diapers and a lowgrade fever. It's so sweet to hold her and comfort her when she needs it the most. Look how big she looks! She's grown so much since here.
Now that Ella is a master at crawling she always finds her way to the same spot.... the bookshelf in the living room. This has been a great place to have baskets of toys and books. She has now even figured out how to get the bottom basket down herself. She loves her books!

We unintentionally bought her a new stroller today. After vacation last weekend, Matt and I talked about how we should start thinking about getting a smaller stroller in the near future. We were running errands and happened across a good deal, so we snatched it up. We took Ella for a ride around the neighborhood and she LOVES it!

To end our weekend, Ella got to take a real big girl bath. Since she's gotten mobile, she's discovered that she can move around and turn circles in her infant tub. I decided that she needed the room to move, splash and unwind at the end of the day. I think she enjoyed it!

I don't even know your hubby but does Ella look a lot like him the older she gets? Love the pictures. She is so sweet!
