We spent this weekend at the lake with the Girls soccer team that Matt coaches and had an absolute blast. This was Ella's first lake trip and I think she enjoyed herself... with the exception of hating her life jacket. Here is our trip through pictures.

Daddy helping Ella to try out her life jacket for the first time. It's no wonder she didn't like it! Actually, she would cry and cry when we put her in it and then fall asleep in a matter of minutes. We think that it may have made her feel like she was getting swaddled for bedtime.
Matt had just jumped off of very top of the dock... about a 15 foot jump!
This may look like fear and tears... but this is really Ella laughing! She loved swinging with her Daddy!

It's rare for us to remember to take pictures of just the two of us anymore.
Ella got on my raft with me for a little bit. Then Matt joined us and she got in the water. She didn't hate it too much.
