6 Months Stats

Ella is officially 6 months old! I just got back from her appointment and wanted to write a quick update on our growing little girl. She now weighs 17.4 lbs (75 percentile), is 26 inches long (60 percentile) and her head measures at 17.25 inches (80 percentile). Her daddy and I were both shocked to see that all of her stats were above average! She is such a joy. People are always commenting on her contagious smile and her beautiful eyes. She loves being around other kids and enjoys watching people in general. Ella is a very curious girl. It is hard for her to sleep when there are lots of things going on around her. Even at church we have to cover her with a blanket so she'll quit looking around the auditorium! I am blessed beyond measure for such a healthy, beautiful little girl.

At 6 months, Ella is...

...wearing size 3 diapers

...wearing size 6-9 months clothes

...just now outgrowing size 1 shoes (tiny feet like her momma!)

...rolling over both ways

...always smiling

...constantly blowing spit bubbles and making raspberries

...full of laughter

...enjoying tummy time more and more

...trying to sit up when laying down (not very successful yet)

...sitting on her own for about 10 sec at a time (sometimes)

...eating approximately 36 oz of formula a day

...sleeping close to 11 hrs at night

...working on getting her two bottom teeth

...grabbing onto toys

...chewing on anything and everything

...eating solids (likes: rice cereal, oatmeal, green beans, and peas--dislikes: carrots and squash)

...recognizing our cat Tanner

..."talking" like crazy

This is such a fun age!
