Easter Weekend 2009

The weekend before Easter had nice weather. If it hadn't been so windy, it would have been fabulous! Our friends Ashley, Brady and their little boy Ryder were in town so the girls decided to take advantage of the sunshine and go to the park. The two pictures below are of Ella in her Easter dress at the park. We were thrilled the sun was out, but Ella didn't seem to care for it too much. She kept her eyes closed for all of the pictures.

For Easter weekend, we travelled up to visit my side of the family. It was the first chance for Ella to meet some of her extended family (another post for that to come). Ella enjoyed getting the chance to work on her muscles and even Nana got on the ground to play with her.

Matt meeting and holding Cambrie for the first time. It's amazing that Ella was that small 7 weeks ago.

Cambrie is on the left and Ella is on the right. They had some bonding time this weekend. It's going to be a lot of fun watching these two grow up together. I have a feeling that they will be getting in to trouble quite a bit.... and Emberley will be right in the mix with them!

The night before Easter, we set out the little girl's baskets and a plate of carrots for the Easter Bunny. Waking up on Sunday morning was a treat for Emberley... the babies had no clue.

This picture is priceless. I love the way Ella looks at her daddy.

Family photo.

Big family photo. Next time, we should do the ENTIRE family.

And we couldn't let Easter slip away without taking a photo of the little girls with bunny ears. Too cute!

I'm also excited to announce that our cupcake has slept 9 hour stretches at night for the past three nights. It doesn't seem to be a fluke, so we are thrilled!

What a fun weekend! It was great seeing you all. I can't wait to see Ella again in a couple of weeks :)

Love the photos! I'm sure Em will be the ringleader of all the trouble those girls will be getting into!

They look so cute together. This little ones smiling and Emberley not quite sure what to think of them. I'm sure they will think she knows a lot and sometimes she will be happy about that and other times she'll wish they would just leave her alone. They are all super cute!
