Roadtrip

Ella and I travelled to Kansas last week to visit family and friends. I was hopeful that I could make the 3 hr drive without needing to stop and feed Ella, but I didn't get that lucky. Although I had to stop and feed our growing little girl, she did great in the car and slept most of the time. In just a matter of months, I'm sure that will be a different story.

This was the first time that Ella got to meet her cousin Emberley. It was cute to see how excited Em got about her baby cousin. She showered her with lots of hugs and kisses, would always try to give Ella her paci when it was laying around, and in the picture below, she even wanted to share her doll and help her swing. Ella did wonderful with letting her cousin love on her so much... even when she wasn't so gentle.

While we were in KS, we got to welcome the arrival of my niece Cambrie Lyn. She was born on 3/23 weighing in at 6 lbs, 14.8 oz and was 18 3/4 inches long. She is such a beautiful baby and looks pretty similar to her sister Em when she was a baby. It's going to be fun that Ella has two girl cousins so close in age to grow up with. They are going to have so much fun together!

Here are a couple more pictures from our trip. We had a great time, but it's great to be home. We missed Matt!
